jugheaddave Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Hi Just as a matter of interest what is the most widely used chain lube in SA. I use squirt, it works great but I don't enjoy the "waxy gunk" build up around chain rings and cassette that I seem to get with this product.

Azonic Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I find squirt lasts for maybe 10km, then the chain sounds dry again. I sometimes also use a cheap Raleigh oil, a very thin based oil. But you really don't want to use allot as it attracts dirt like a mofo.

AndreZA Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I recently changed from the biggest Squirt supporter to Motorex dry lube. I's not as clean as Squirt but do lasts longer and is quiter.
