Is the capture card still the bext way to go, would love to record the upcoming Giro.

I just got mine a week ago (as a gift) and still need to record something. How do you record and start playback but it must continue to record?

best bet, records as AVI, has programmable recording sessions and is one of the best things i have ever bought, have a DSTV PVR as well but this is great as i just drop it in a bag and am ready for a holiday/ weekend away etc with my media collection. also functions as a wifi media center for access to download from.

The USB port on the PVR is reserved for future use and is not going to work if you shove a memory stick into it.

 

As stated above TV Card or DVD Recorder is the only way you are going to be able to swap that porn.

I have a standalone LG PVR that can write to DVD and USB, its possible that porn suppliers use this LG PVR or are using screen capture cards in PCs

Game, Makro(useless), Trade Centr, House and Home... about R3k(I think) depending on the hard disk size...

Gift it on to me to hack so we can transfer content out via the usb interface.

Other option is to hook up SD output to S-Video or Composite PC Video Capture (HD can be done as well albeit via more round-about HDCP bypassing route)

Busy trying this out currently with capture card used my tv outs last night and worked fine, gonna look at the back of the dstv decoder later to see if I can use outputs there and hopefully get better quality.
