Appart from being utterly ugly, whats this bike suppose to do? It's s carbon allmountain bike right, with heavy duty rims,  and dirt jump/street tyres?

If it was a steel hardtail I would have no problems. But this bloke bought this carbon bike for 4X or dirt jumping (like Brian Lopes)??? remember that Flyin Brian probably gets these for free if he were to break it.

Or was his pockets getting to heavy and he thought getting this would make his rides to the shop more comfortable.

Im sorry, but this is really really dumbLOL

Hey it's his money, it he wants to do this why not? Also the ibis can take quite a bit of abuse before it break and at the point of failure a alu frame will probably have failed as well.

Hey guys' date=' that be my bike... frame is ibis mojo with sl linkages.. pretty much the same as they build them otherwise... wheels... spank lumo green rims - black spokes - red nipples and red Hope pro 2 hubs... love em.... tires - halo twin rails... saw them and thought they would be worst possible suit for the wheels..... i was right - i love them..... perfect.... now just the pink bottle holder and some more ridiculous parts.... Will be getting Hope front and rear brakes soon - red alley when they get in stock... also Fsa crankset.....

Tyres weight 1kg each so they just for cruising to the beach or something....normally run the Nano and wolverine....

This has been said before, but you put it out there, I give my opinion.

I said it with a LOL Winkat the end indicating it was not a serious "choon" I would love to have abike like this for going to the shop, hell jea.

Im just saying that I think its a bit of a waist as for the money he could have probably gotten something a lot more "usable" as a "play around bike" He must have lots of money If he can buy this for a beach cruise bike, and im sure you will agree, also that It is his choice to do what the hell he wants with it, YES, ofcourse, mabe It just hurt a bit knowing I will probably never own that...Cry

As for the strenth.. trust me, for Dirt jumping, get n dirt jumping bike(thats why they make them steel these days),  this will not last a season, take my word, I did it for a long long time.

but then again I dont think he is doing huge jumps and maby what Im reffering to as "dirt jump" and the general public is also different.

enjoy.

COOL, we are all allowed our opinions. I had a stp, a planet x etc etc and again, I dont know what we are really talking about as DJ here anyway, but I think this is going off the topic.

Which I guess was more about the looks anyway.

Peace
