KlapperKnop Posted January 26, 2007 Share I find Prepsol (degreaser) to work well on ALU frames. Spray it on even the cluster. Then rinse it of with water ... low pressure tho.
Pantani Posted January 26, 2007 Share Ag pressure schmessure man! I connect straight to the fire hydrant in my road and give my bike a blast from the past! When I'm finished they dry the neighbourhood!
scotty Posted January 26, 2007 Share I have a bakkie and find that by securing my bike on the back and driving thru the local car wash it comes out spanking clean.

bikemonster Posted January 26, 2007 Share If anybody has watched "Hell on Wheels" (following T-Mobile/Telekom) or "Overcoming" (following CSC) in the 2003 TdF you will see the bike mechanics washing bikes with a very high pressure jet. Just like everybody says you're not supposed to.
Pantani Posted January 26, 2007 Share I wanted to say that, but not as bluntly, so I just give my bike a good walloping with a jet so harsh it thinks it's had a prison experience!
