CycleSure or PedalCare. Just yesterday I had to claim cuz I ripped my Bibbs and within 3hours my claim was settled! Great servise from Cyclesure but if you looking for great service at a lover lower cost PedalCare is a better choice. PM me if you need contact  / email addies. Marius2008-12-18 07:27:14

Okay, on this subject. Does a claim affect your premium like with normal insurance? I've never claimed in 6 years and could have bought a new bike by now.

My Bibbs were Assos, so the excess of R250 does not come close to the plus R3k they are going for now...pansie!!

And no, I've had to claim at least once a year and the premium has not gone up except for the yearly increase as with any insurance. They will how ever increase for excess if you claim a few times during the same year.

Try Outsurance!!

I got a quote from them this week and it was R130 more than Pedalcare. My household and car insurance is with Outsurance so I thought that they would give me a decent rate as I have never claimed and have been a client of theirs for over 7 years now.

Can also vouch for Pedal care ,but make sure you insure your bikes for the correct amount to spare yourself allot of stress when claiming.

Took some time to sort out my claim when I had my crash and had to do some arguing over under insurance and the assessor trying to rip me a new one ,but in the end all worked out and I'm happy to report I insured my replacement bike with them gain.

being a long term client of outsurance doesnt mean a thing. I got bumped by another outsurance client, lost my 7 year no claim bonus as they were too chickensh1t to decide whos fault it was, and skyrocketed my insurance on my new car with a premium R600 more than Dial Direct quoted. No prizes for guessing who insures me now.Ouch service at dial direct is top class too... so far.

Hi Rude.I am an old school insurance person and whilst everything is changing to keep up with our hectic pace, such as call centers where you must have your policy number etc handy before you can talk to whoever, nothing beats old fashion service where one develops an association with a broker. That is not to say that you do not get brokers who have not messed up.I hope Dial Direct do not let you down.

Riccardo, if its regional, who is your agent in Mozambique???????

I'm getting a new Carbon bike soon, and people say I must insure it. I've got 5 other bikes, 3 of which I would also like to insure, depending on the price. I have never ever claimed on insurance. Is that goodClap or badEmbarrassed
