Bos Posted February 19, 2009 Share Jeesszzz guys, Oneday when Im old and wrinckly I might be able to splash out these fairy parts for a bike in a glass display for my mates to come look at.. but Eff..Maintaining these bikes must be horrible...? those bikes under 8 are "exhibition" bikes.I would love a 11kg ride, but at that cost I cant Imagin riding the thing the way I trash my blur. and the blur comes back for more. I cannot see anyone riding the epic with normal tires, so just by using normal UST tyres with stans (+-700g per tyre) gives you 1.4kg right there. My 08 Epic S-Works is probably about 11 kg with all kinds of lekke stuff on it, you know, the usual XTR cranks XO RD, grippers, Ritchey 4 axis stem, EA70 bars, Magura Martas (love those brakes) Roval Controle E5 wheels..
