My money is on the chicken burgers at the finish.

 

At the last water point all I had was a cup of coke.

Had one of everything on offer at the final table, had chicken roll at the end...

 

 

 

No probs.

 

 

 

From the sound of it, it's berg bug. You think you're dying but it's over pretty quickly... we used to get it now and then in the berg so know the feeling. Also know to keep mouth closed when mud / water are around.

Great race, great people, great vibe... awesome time away!

 

 

 

Hands down some of the best mtb riding i have seen, let alone ridden... and after hearing Nick (the chap who works with farmer glen on the course and other stuff) i can just hear the passion in his voice.

 

 

 

Great organization.

 

 

 

Given my 12 metabolisms, it was nice to get so much food when ever i wanted...

 

 

 

If you have not done it, do it. I will be doing this race for as long as i can.

Reding some of the replies, it seems i am not the only one with the 'Scottsborough dribble'

 

 

 

Seems its down to:

 

 

 

1. The water (somewhere, sometime)

 

2. The roll at the end (non-name brand)

 

3. The food during the course of the time...

 

 

 

I didn't have the Nando's, so it can't be the Peri people who saved us on day2.

Both of us never had the rolls at the end but have been ill since sat, so my bet is on the water or mud !

man the bottom of my world was falling out this weekend! I also thought it may have been the shmud on the way, but those chicken rolls at the end were dodgy coming to think of it.
