I've done same on a Niner MCR and the tension was pretty good to start off with but looks like the chain wear is starting to take it's toll and I've lost a lot of tension and it's getting quite pap...will probably need to put a tensioner on at some stage. What the other bike BTW? Hey XTC, sheesh, sorry for the late reply, I missed your post somehow. My Flint is the 2011 model which has an eccentric BB, so no magic gear needed I've been very impressed with the chain, I've only had to tension it twice so far, and I'm no lightweight. I've put on some new XT stoppers and 790mm bars since, I'll post some new pics over the weekend. The other bike is a Santa Cruz Chameleon.
