baggy mtb shorts that are actually comfortable?

What you can do is got to Mr Price and get a pair of baggies and just wear it over you normal shorts.

.

Or you could just wear your regular cycling kit and stop being a pretentious twat?

Are you scared we will laugh at your ass?

Who me? Dude, I wear the same standard bibs for road, mtb and rollers... I'm not rich or pretentious enough to have seperate kit for this bike, or that bike... Same as I use flying insect doom on crawling insects (yip, just the same as oom Johan). It's all the same.

Weird thing is, all the MTB crowd pride themselves on their laid backness and their acceptance of anyone, but actually, they seem to be more anal and stuck up than the road crew. If you don't have a peak on your helmet, or disc brakes, or tubeless wheel thnigies, or whatever, then god help you on some mtb rides. Pathetic really.

I hope you have a hydration pack. I don't help anybody that uses bottles. I'm not even gonna mention the bar-ends on riser bars. smiley4.gif

I presume myself with my 12 year old mtb without shocks, without clip in cycling shoes and baggies will not be welcome at these get to gethers.  Will just continue to do the funrides with the wife then Tongue

The sale has been on for a while, but check your local Due South and ask them to check on their system who has in stock. But hurry before more pretentious people like us go there and beat you to it!

Anyone is welcome - dont forget that as you find yourelf racing for 500th position or so you laugh last bacause the chap you are racing against is riding a bike that cost him 6 months salary.

It's all good fun. I know of no one that will give others flak on account of their bike being old. I suppose if people do, they are wasters - plain and simple and who really gives a rats?

Was just kidding, I don't give a rats ass what others may think.  In fact it's quite fun. Our first ofm classic, myself, my wife and a buddy of ours just started cycling 2 months before that.  The looking up and down with the funny expression of the guys with their fancy bikes in the bunches before us while we're overtaking them with our crap old mtb's and strap pedals with takkies was quite funny LOL
