who'd make a good mod?

The Hub has grown in leap and bounds over the last couple of years and there are probably close to a hundred topics created on a daily basis. For one or two Mods to peruse every single posting and thread to ensure it complies with the standards that have been set, is probably a full time job.

 

My suggestion is that a Moderator (and preferably more than one) gets appointed PER FORUM ie a mod for the "chit-chat" forum, one for the "for sale" forum. The advantage being is that a Mod can then concentrate on his/her own forum (fora ?) as opposed to being responsible for every single thread.

 

As longs as he/she has the time and if a Mod wants to accept responsibility for more than one Forum, then all well and good. To put the responsibility on a couple of Mods to police the whole Forum is in my opinion asking a bit too much.

Agreed. the forum as a whole has grown too large. I'd even say a couple of mods for the rather raucous forums like chit chat and such.

Except for post deleted, i am guilty of the the other sins, also dont have time. ShaunH would also make a good mod i feel.
