Dirty Twin Posted June 21, 2009 Share Assos  Can't get myself to spend that kind of money on bibs. Have a pair of Giordana's and a pair of Adidas both have the same chamois in so equally comfortable. Did an eight hour ride in the giordana's in January wasn't to bad and a 7 hour ride the next day in my Merida bibs. Lots of Mark II Shammy Cream youch!!!!! Willehond Posted June 22, 2009 Share  Sorri for the hijack' date='But whats the attraction with Bibs?Bijack    [/quote'] No saggy bottom syndrome! 1. Basically everything that should move with you moves and everything that shouldn't, stays put! 2. You don't have to cut yourself in half trying tying the waistband up to stay where it is3. It hides your boep (well, it helps with mine.)4. You feel like a pro. I only wear bibless shorts on the IDT where it gets so blerrie hot. On the road or mtb I always wear bibs because you put them on and forget about it. ASTANA Posted June 22, 2009 Share Cape strom matrix - or No sweat Like/liked the First Accent - but they didn't last that long - so don't know if I had a bad pair or if this is true about all of their stock. ASSOS nice - but bit expensive for something that is bound to wear out and need to be replaced. Bikes and shoes last a lot longer for the amount I'm willing to spend.
Aedon Posted June 22, 2009 Share Just stay away from Mr Price shorts.  Don't see why. I have been riding with mine for a while now and no complaints at all. Not able to find any bibs lately, they seem to not be importing them any longer. Wear them, toss in machine, hang to dry and good to go. Did the same with a pair of Cape Storm and don't have them anymore.
