Cycletour and 94.7 to be cancelled in 2009 + 2010

I was at a Government planning meeting  for the 2010 World Cup yesterday and they  said that they will make sure that the Argus Cycletour and 94.7 are cancelled in 2009 and 2010 so as not to take any publicity away from South Africa's World Cup.

 

Apparently they want to have a 'focussed media'

The world cup will be the demise of South Africa we are unable to hold such an event and will mak us look like fools. Te better bet is the 94.7

Our gov hardly does anything during the week, but on saturdays they do squat!

Yes, and all persons having partipated in 2008 will be executed in public (Cape Parade, nogal) for being "unpatriotic". All travel costs to get to your execution will be borne by yourdself/family. Life insurance will also not pay out if...

Government has their priorities all wrong once again. The worldcup wiil not make money. At least the Argus and 94.7 does.
