What time, and from where? I have a 40km route, takes me between 1:30 - 1:45 to complete.

Will be after 5 tomorrow afternoon - so should be done before dark. I work in Durbanville, so starting anywhere here.

What group are you starting in?

I think in W - I have not received my permanent PPA number yet, but my seeding on the website says W. It might change. First year with PPA.

Where can I see which group I start in? Suppose I need to ask them unsure.png

If you are interested, we could meet at the traffic circle at the top of Koeberg rd (the one next to Durbanville Highschool and the Spar). We then go down Koeberg rd/Adderley rd, Phillidelphia rd, Silos, Klipheuwel and back, or we could do it in reverse, finishing the last 25 odd km of the Durbanville race on that route.

Say about 17h15 to 17h20?

Phone PPA office and enquire. You can then arrange for them to have your number there on Saturday and you can pick it up at registration.

Home race - can't miss this one! Will start in D and try and stick to the group - wannabe don't be surprised if I end up in H :-)

Yeah, I raced in D last season.

D starts for Dig Deep, DD!!

Home race as well - Tubehunter, come start with us in G! ;-)

Ja, why not! See you chaps at the start. I'll be in white Reuters Thomson kit on a Scott Addict. F108 is my number.

The final 25 kms is rollers and rises, with a total ascent of about 280m, SyncSA.

Typically, into the South Easter.

Over rough and bumpy tarmac.

A good workout

40km. If we start with Adderley, rolling hills out, wind probably in the back. If we go out on Wellington first and finish on Adderley, rolling hills last with the wind probably in the face. I actually prefer it this way round, as there is still roadworks (Stop / Go) on the Klipheuwel / Silo's section and the road is quite busy with people returning to Durbanville. The Adderley rd section is a lot quieter traffic wise.

And the road is not that rough and bumpy. A few spots is so so, rest is good.

Yeah, road conditions is good for riding.

No hassles with potholes, etc.
