Loose cog Posted July 25, 2017 Share Just receive my fully restored Lejeune back from Francois du Toit. Complete with period correct components (1980 Dura Ace 9-speed group set, Shimano 600 brakes, Cinelli handle bar, Brookes Professional saddle). Saying I'm happy is an understatement. Very nice Jannie! The paint work looks stunning. FYI, please take pics with the bicycle with the drive side showing. It allows us to see the drive chain (crank, derailleurs). quintonb Posted July 25, 2017 Share Spent Saturday stripping down, cleaning, polishing and rebuilding the Moser. Its has a Columbus SLX tubeset and is a Team issue frame, so top of the range in its day.I decided to keep the Shimano 600 Tricolour on it for now.The bike was bought new as a frame set only and the owner had the bike shop build it with 600.So I decided to keep it as originally purchased.A few small chips on the paint, but otherwise in superb condition, even the chrome is amazing considering its age and living along the Durban coastline. broncoza Posted July 26, 2017 Share Interesting conversion Eppie, I did the same with my MB5 using road calipers, geometry is fine I don't know what all the fuss is about with people complaining about high BB etc. just started my second one which will accommodate the Clements I got Eppie

Happy to offer full refund to out of town buyers. Are you trying to convince me to build a blue C40 as well? I have never started a build with a saddle, so that will be a first. Somewhat of a top down build. Resist temptation, resist! Nakoota and Loose cog
