bikebloke Posted August 9, 2019 Share its a Portacatena a fancy version of that braised on chain stud that some frames (many ) have to hook the chain up on when you take the wheel out you fitted it and you had somewhere to shift your chain to when you punctured to take the wheel off and put it back on without the chain being in the way ....... it was a pro rider thing - it never took off basically cause its bella mad - you could change a punctured wheel faster but i think you have to loose a sprocket so you are on a 5 speed instead of a 6 ? it came with a special shifter and there where campy special dropouts that came drilled to fit it it was mental and never took off and so its a rare but pointless bit of kit you should make a necklace out of it Edited August 9, 2019 by bikebloke DJR and HeartCoppi 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
