In most cases complex living is more tatgeted

for the simple reason of false security.

Sad news we all move to complexes to be safe??
Fallacy! Especially when the syndicate rents a place within the complex and has all the time in the world to stake out who is worth what!!

Sorry to hear M!!

...and complexes aren't that safe! I have an ex collegue who got cleared out. Muggers waited around a corner for them when they were out. And many complexes have many obscure little dark corners, few knows their neighours and who belongs in there. And in most you are not allowed to have dogs...  Its created a false sense of security IMO!Confused

My brother in law owns a security company.  One of his guards caught a youngster with a school case at the gate with a few stolen goods in it.  Reported him.  Not always the security guy at the gate.  Some of them are honest hard workers.

Very often the security guards are threatened with thier family's lives if they talk, so they just look the other way.

My bike was stolen and 2 guards saw the guys walking down the road, but didnt say a thing. Cops reckon he was too sh!t scared.

They dont get paid enough to risk thier (or thier family's) lives.

But then sometimes you gotta wonder, 'what's the use of security guards?'

Oh and they took my Polar S720. Maybe it's time for a Suunto.

no.

i love my t6, but the battery life is just horrid ... the backlight is off and i very seldom use the bikepod or footpod (separate battery issues with them) ... the battery last 6 months if i'm lucky ... i had excellent service from the suunto-guys, but if i could afford somehting else now, i would have swapped.

sorry to hear about the break-in ... it's terrible  to know that someone was in your personal space without permission :(
