So anyone else out there that appears to be the lucky winner of one million pounds lately?  Guys are good...even respond personally to your emails, until you call silversands, who deny any involvement!  They don't even ask you for your bank details up front like most idiots...but rather give you a British phone no to call at the Bank of Scotland!

I received a sms on Sunday saying that I've won 2.8M but it never specified 2.8M of what.

I was to contact a Mrs something or other and the email address was from Yahoo in Hong Kong.

cannot shut them down there are just too many of them to carry on the trade and there are too many people looking to make a quick buck that still get caught which makes it profitable for the scammers

My best to date was a brand new Hilux for R100 000 on Gumtree. Thought I had to inquire in case there was something real about it. Too funny...

This chap, claiming to live in England, having been transferred there from who knows where (his English was slightly off-key), said I can send him the money and if I'm not happy with the car I can send it back to him and he'll refund me. Beeeuoootiful.

There was a guy giving away two parrots.  I emailed him and he let me know that he was originally from the UK but now living in Ghana and that the birds had to move to a warmer climate for their health (go figure Pta warmer than Ghana) and that I just needed to send money etc for the export permits and pet courier charges.

You have a virtual zoo already, another two birds( feathered ones) are not going to make much of a difference
