i told you on sunday  -

 

don't waste money on all your bling wheels,  shoes.  assos pants etc but rather just get a powermeter - saw some for sale on the site at reasonable prices!

Personally I find training with so much technology off-putting. Sure, for the pro's and semi-pro's it is a good tool to judge fitness. but for me it takes away some of the magic about training.

 

When I do my interval training (running), I use 1 minute hard / 1 minute low intensity for about 15 minutes. Great for getting fit quickly, but in general I do not hink this helps me in the endurance in general that I love so much.

Whatever works for you is great - if technology reduces your enjoyment then don't use it.

 

Many of us find that the measured improvements that technology can offer adds to our motivation to train hard.

MichH, try pu your speed sensor on the rear wheel so you can get an indication of your speed that you are doing.It makes for interesting reading as you go on.

Crux,  are you referring to the summary data that we post sometimes?  That comes from CyclingPeaks.  The SRM software does not support concepts like TSS, IF, Normalised Power etc.  So, all you will be able to get is Average Power over various durations.

 

What summary are you looking for?
