Every man needs only 2 tools... a hammer and duct tape. If the hammer doesn't fix it duct tape sure will B)

Its a nice clean tear.

Should be repairable.

Weld on some "splints" top and bottom; and Do the other side at the same time.

 

or saw off both sides to get nice square finishes. Then have a connector made with a short male that slots into both sides and weld.
