I take some paper towels and clean the inside with my hand.  Luckily the Camelbak opening is big enough to get your hand in!  Hopefully that gets it dry enough, but when in doubt use Milton.  If it's good enough to clean baby bottles it's good enough for your baby bottle! Kills the germs.

Wash it out with some Milton & warm water, will kill any nasties trying to hang around. I also stuff a clean drying-up cloth into the bag to ensure air can get in to dry it.

I am the wrong person to askk. I typically leave my bladder in my CamelBak, with whatever left over juice is in there, until the night before the next race, where I try to clean it out. By this time - the juice has formed a big sticky wobbly mass, and there is a algae etc breeding in it.

I then fill it with soapy water, and try to get the icky wobbly juice out, but invariable some of it stays behind, and I am reminded that I should probably clean my bladder right after a race, when the first mouthful I take is a mixture of soapy water with some very chewy bits.

My wife is far more diligent - washes it out regularly, and then usually sticks a wooden spoon in it to keep the sides of the bladder apart while it dries.

Buy a couple of pipe cleaners (see pic below), twist them together and use them to clean the pipe. Costs about 10 c each I think. Make sure you clean the mouth piece too.

I just started using one but have heard of the following: After washing it out fill it with those plastic practice golf balls that has holes in them or put the empty pack in the freezer Wink
