I'm in a bit of a quandary, I've decided to build up a 29er SS, and was looking at a Ragley Bigwig.

Does anyone have one, and how does it ride

Wrong question, if you like it... buy it! logical thinking is not for this thread, haha :D

Logical thinking? What's that got to do with it, the wife asked me what I need a new bike for, and I couldn't answer her. She pointed out that I have 3 mountain bikes hanging in the garage. I mumbled something about selling 1 of them, and got a skeef look. She knows that I cannot bear selling a bike, no matter how old. They all get recycled.

After riding SSWC last year and getting completely hooked I went searching for the 'perfect' frame for my dream SS. It had to be steel, have sliding dropouts and the ability to take gears, in case a longer ride beckoned (multi-day). Enter the Soma Analog (I had a pending trip to the US and jumped on the opportunity to order one and smuggle it back). I've been riding it for almost a year now with roughly the same set-up as in the shot with the bakkie, and its amazing. Quick, turns on a dime and climbs perfectly.
