Dude ... how many teeth on that crank of yours?

It was a BIG thing for me to decide on, but in the end went with a 32T.

The guys at NINER seems to think it is best for 29er...

Thank goodness ... it looks bigger than a 32T!

Any consideration on the no. of teeth you will be using on the sprocket?

Yep, it is the bash guard that makes it look bigger in the F.

For my rear, I have a set of the following; 16T, 18T, 19T and a 20T sprocket.

I am starting with the 18T, and we will see how she goes.

Project should be complete by end of the month...

CANNOT WAIT!!!

I had a 32x16 on my 26" SS a while back and this felt just right. (I was also a little fitter then)

Now on the 29'er SS I had a 32x16 and it is great for flat / rolling hills, but you know it will hurt if there is any decent gradient. Currently have a 32x18 and this is ok ... I say ok for now until my fitness picks up then it should be good. Only problem though is that on the flat commutes you spin out rather quickly .... but then again at least this assists with fitness!
