I rode with one of those until i got the softtail. They do work well. Unit comes with varios colored rubber bushes for different rider weight.

I see that alot of these flash SS bike are running flat pedals.

Is this the norm or a personal choice?

For me personal choice, even on my Dualie my clipon is a platform so I can go clipped in or with flat shoes

Mine's not flash. I try to ride flats for a part of the year. Riding flats now after a 3mo enforced layoff. Edited by deanbean

For me personal choice as my SS is a fun playbike with long travel fork, slack head angle and dropper post.

Spend some QT on the SS this weekend... the fact that she is for sale hurts me. I absolutely love every minute on the bike. That steel frame is amazing even with the carbon fork.

I got an 18 tooth bmx cog on the back which seems to be working fine, and for now using the middle chain ring. I'm wanting to now get a single chain ring, what are you guys using up front and where did you get it from?

Just finished this build for the OH:

 

Frame off theHub - m.c.r - anybody know anything about this niner frame?

All the rest from spares lying around the house, I love the retro looking stem.

unfortunately had to go with a chain tensioner in the end, which was a pity
