Who'd get the highest salary out of our locals?

 

Burry (prob highest rated)

Hunter (tour rider)

Greg Minnaar(gravity has money?)

Another(who could earn more?)

 

 

Obviously performance bonuses and endorsements would cloud it up a bit, so a seperate issue.

For Burry and Minnaar's sakes (I think they are the most successful in their respective disciplines of all SA riders), I hope they make a lot more than R600k a year... People like Armstrong/Schleck/Contador probably make that in a month from their basic salary alone and Burry and Minnaar are riding at the same level as those guys.

Conrad Stoltz don't race locally that often either, but should be doing pretty well for himself - or so I would hope as he is competing and winning at the highest level.

While Burry does prefer MTB he rides plenty on the road and has achieved results on the road other elite roadies can be envious of, so much so that now more roadies are getting into MTB'ing.

Domstique on local circuit R140k - R250k, this is guess work based on conversation with one of the local teams managers last year.

 

Burry, Kevin and so on must be up there in the R600 k mark. Robbie is in a different class altogether... for now. Remember these guys do not get to keep any prize money, all goes to the sponsor / team.
