It looks like chopped off palmtrees. Those ropes with the loops are the typical things they use to climb palm trees. Some proper bikes up there if you look at the disk brakes and shocks.

I think this is kind of sad really, looks like they take some really poor people put these items at the top and then watch them try and scamper to the top to collect prizes. Not sure if you have ever looked down from a 10m drop but its high enough to maim and kill.

 

Some sadist is sitting there laughing his ass off while these poor people risk their lives to get a bike they would otherwise not be able to afford.

 

Now i have to wonder when i turned into such a humanitarian.
