Drugs for bikes - "I robbed bikers for drug money"

With the amount of cyclists caught for doping it would have been much easier just to steal their drugs directly.

That is funny. It's like

"hands up, give me your drugs"

"I don't have any"

"okay, give me your bike so that I can buy some drugs"

"Can you bring me some?"

Cash Crusaders are such crooks. They claim to only sell legit stuff and that the seller must have an ID etc but they do not ask for proof of ownership and as far as I can tell they do not notify the police of suspicious persons selling itemst that are obviously not belonging to them.

I mean some smelly dirty dude who looks like he can barely ut food on the table walks in with a R50k bike under his arm and gets R300-00 for it....

who is the bigger problem. The thief or the bastards creating a market for stolen goods?

All HUBBERS should boycott Cash Crusaders to teach those b*stards a lesson !

If you keep the wheel spinning round n round - don't be shocked when your mama / babies / wife gets killed or raped.....

Cool - thanks for the mail addy....

I have emailed them - let's hope they have the guts to reply !!

To Whom it may concern,

As an enthusiastic cyclist and a member of society - I am truly appalled to have read the following article.

Here - it clearly outlines that your company (or franchises) have been party to completing the cycle of crime.

You may argue that checks and balances are in place and that ID numbers etc are insisted upon - but if you are in any game long enough - it does not take a genius to realise genuine sellers from common cretins.

Please do NOT even begin to explain your "obviously" rotten processes.

How is it that any true seller will gladly accept R300 for a highly sophisticated R20 000 + bicycle ?

Why would a true seller ONLY take R300 ?

I understand that nobody walks into your premises with a sticker on their forehead that reads, "Drug Addict".

But - come on - please ! For goodness sakes - you are COMPLETING the circle of crime for your own profits.

Do you not have a conscience ?

Don't have a big scare when your wives / daughters or loved ones are murdered / raped by the same villains that you support.

I will be sure to let all of my friends, colleagues and fellow riders know NEVER to support your organisation !

Know of a Hijacking Kingpin who gave himself up to SAPS after his daughter got shot and killed by one of his henchman after a "customer" ordered a car the same as her's, and he then sent the guys out to go and "procure" one. Her car then ended up in his garage after the henchman delivered it to him.

I am very curious to know for how much the sold / are selling that bike they bought for R300.  Would be very interresting.

That's if it was sold on the floor...who knows where the bike ends up???

I would love to see a response for Cash Crusaders. I have heard of many instances of goods being found in their shops. They are a problem acting as fences in the cycle of crime. These guys  should be very strongly controlled. Asking for ID is useless, everyone knows how easy it is to get a fake one.

It is an upsetting article, but how do you know it is a 20k+ bike??  I don't like the possibility of Cash Crusaders aiding crime but it could have been a cheap (1k) bike???

I understand your point...R20k or R1...they're still profiting from someone else's loss...
