???? How did my answer land up as the Question????

Do your selve a favour and contact Chris jnr at CWC. He has one of these computer / electronic bike set up equipment. He is very good with it. Make sure he does it. Since I have done mine I have no more back problems.

The problem with all these places that have fancy computers to do set up, they only seem to use it when you buy a VERY expensive bike from them. I've been to about 3 bike set-ups, and it's ALWAYS the manual set-up.

That is why I would go with colonel's suggestion - Jeroen at SSI. You do not have to buy a bike! Besides he did mine and the difference is amazing...

Maybe it is because the computer set-up is just a foefie. A manual set-up is just as good and there is no need to involve anything that works with batteries and chips. Its basic measurement, an eye for what looks right and a jig of sorts that allows for quick stem and top-tube changes.

My MTB and my Road bike have both been set-up manually (different places). The distance between my saddle and handle bar is not the same on my MTB and Road bike. It's 2 cm further away with my MTB. I moved my MTB saddle a bit forward, and it feels much better. I guess it's better if you find a good bike set-up person/shop and stay with them for all your bikes.

Remember, these things are not perfect. YOu still need to make small adjustments if something does not feel right. How can a computer determine how high your seat must be if it does not know what kind of seat it is and how much it sags when you sit on it or how thick the soles of your shoes are or if you where insoles. All these things need to be check manualy and tried for about 2 rides.
