covie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Most of these laws can be broken down into very simplistic formualtions, and if you follow these you will never get in trouble, even if they were actually enforcing any of these. 1. Reflectors, a judge will acept if you only have reflector or light at the rear. while driving in daylight conditions. Its not mandatory for a car to have reflectors in the front. However riding in dusk or in the dark would obvsiously require a reflector or light in the front not only for your saftey but so you can see where your going so this is pretty much moot if you love your life. 2. obey the basic rules of the road, like stopping at red lights. 3 ride single file to avoid becomming road kill. the rest was just put in there to fill up the blanks.
DaLoCo Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Trying to find out if the people who say they don't break laws are telling the truth are really not. All laws are equal. Also just putting the laws out there for everyone Hmmm...trying to figure who your moral underlings are then??
Wyatt Earp Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Read this and then let us know if you do or don't break the law Admin should make this PDF stickyYou know what's criminal, the fine and then the discount.
chris_w_65 Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 IMo your motivation should have been your second point. That was my main reason but also nice to show the hubbers that claim they never break laws that they are just as guilty as the rest of us. Except maybe TrekSLR and lone ranger but I have my doubts.
chris_w_65 Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 You know what's criminal, the fine and then the discount. It is extorsion. It is not even a discount, they doubled all the fines first. Maybe they consulted with Cajees on this.

Joe Low Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 .... All laws are equal. I think that is only one point of view, and not a very sensible one at that. There are numerous ways that laws are not equal & it seems most people's common sense tells them this.
MattyG Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 5107 Reg. 311(8) Rode a pedal cycle in sucha manner that all thewheels of such pedal cyclewere not in contact with thesurface of the road at alltimes Rode a pedal cycle on a public roadin such a manner that all the wheelsof such pedal cycle were not incontact with the surface of the roadat all times 5103 Reg. 311(4) Pedal cyclist deliberatelycaused such pedal cycle toswerve from side to sideWhen he or she was riding a pedalcycle on a public road, deliberatelycaused such pedal cycle to swervefrom side to side riding in road cat runs across road,,,cat you gona die biatch! im not getting fined multiple times ..

bikemonster Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I agree 100%. Some people however say that if you break any law you could become a murderer Well then "some people" are knobs. Glad to help, no need to thank.
Sparetyre Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Does whistling constitute as a warning device?Seems to do the trick for me..

covie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Contrary to popular belief these are all old laws comming from the days when the NP still governed, why is everyone so amazed all of a sudden. Hell i remember being taught this stuff in Sub A when they taught me how to look left and right and left again before crossing a road. These arent laws because a law is something that gets enforced. This is merely a blotch on a peace of paper.
Icycling Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 If those are the Laws - I would suggest the Laws have broken the Laws! Remember kids (people under the age of 18) are allowed to ride on the roads - these laws would they easily understand?
