Newbie - would you please just do us and yourself a favour and shut up. Really...you don't know us and you do not know what our racial oppinions are. (and huh?? what's with the Argus/94.7/Epic question???)

 

I am not racist (infact - some of my best friends whom i dearly love is black/coloured). I do not hate/despise black people, but i do not like idiots and unfairness.

 

My opinion is that the best people should get the top spots - as simple as that. Whether you're white, black, brown, pink, yellow whatever...if you are best suited for the job i will accept it if you get it. I would not recommend putting an X amount of white players in the Bafana team if they're not as good as the people already there.

 

A black girl (think her surname was Pumelela) beat me in junior league race a few years back. That was about the same time that there were rumours that the same quota system will be implemented in cycling. If selectors for some team that want to put the young WP cyclists into a team and organize racing at a young level were at that race and they had to pick some of us it would only have been fair to put her in as she rode a stunning race and i couldn't keep up with her. Fair is fair, but i would have been really upset if i had won and they put her in a team just because of her skin colour.
