mark ellis Posted January 24, 2011 Share I also felt the same, demotivating, but....you might have gained muscle which makes you think what a crappy weigh loss, but actually the muscle gain making you look leaner bit only a small weight loss yip, what i found is that as i built muscle my weight would increase and then start to drop again as the new muscles burnt fat, just keep going and watch the portion sizes in the evenings

LOUDMAC Posted January 24, 2011 Share Weight gained on the bike.....muscle......is GOOD, even if you have to carry it up hills.....it's active muscle, used to push the bike forward AND up1 Muscle gained from weight training is harder to get over those climbs....it's just DEAD weight. Rather focus on a BMi or body measurement system and see where you are losing and gaining.Last year 96kgThis year, 6 months later, 85kg.Waist from 38 to 34.Suikerbossie...17min bottom to top, now 11min.Keep riding.Sub 3 coming up! Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted January 24, 2011 Share Whiskers - is the spreadsheet supposed to be open to all of us, or are you still inputting the figures yourself? I was down to 99 last week - you've got me as 101. Question answered - thanks! Edited January 24, 2011 by cptmayhem
