Rode a Viner 26 years ago, didn't know they still existed, and Bridgestone that is also one from my history books. Mega cool pics by the way, thanks!!

There was also the Bridgestone Radac, came out in exactly the same red as the one in Delgado's pic.

There were many Bridgestone's in the 80s - not many models, but many around.  The cool guys that didn't want to follow the crowd and ride one of Gotty's bikes (Peugeot or Hansom among others) rode a Bridgestone.  Then Cannondale came along with those oversized early alu models and everyone who was cool got one of those.

 

As for Viner, they have been going strong for years.  They had some distributor problems in the UK which is how I assume you got hold of one, as there wasn't an SA distributor as far as I know.  Seems that that is properly sorted out now.
