Spat Posted February 8, 2011 Share Fizik Arione, wingflex with Magnesium rails (the entry level) The saddle is very comfortable and because of its shape it allows you to shift around to find the most comfortable spot. I have tried the CX version is lighter but I prefer the normal one as it has thicker foam.
AndreZA Posted February 8, 2011 Share Planet-X. It is reasonably light. Fits my but perfect. Only cost me R310 new. Looks like a Arione so you still fit in with the wannabes.

splat Posted February 8, 2011 Share I have a Selle Italia Prolink lite Gel Flow. Its a bit of a couch/lazy boy - but then again, I do have a big ass. I would like to try the Flite gel flow, but I dont know if it would be too narrow.I need to get my sit bones measured on the assometer. The Arione and Antares now also come in the versus version with a presure relief chanel down the middle. So many options and saddles are expensive! At the end of the day, you can try a lot of recommendations, but only YOUR ass can decide.
Spinnekop Posted February 8, 2011 Share Fizik Arione. Serves me well. LONG rides with no issues. Did the Selle Italia SLR and it KILLED me. There is a Fizik K1 lying in the garage....full carbon.....still scared it going to leave a mark...

Christopher Brunsdon Posted February 8, 2011 Share Use to have a PlanetX till I damaged the rails , now I got a WTB Dirt Jumper saddle - oh, and I do need to bring up my post-vasectomy testicle infection here as the WTB is softer on the lower male area. SeaBee Posted February 8, 2011 Share Arione gave me saddle sores, Toup 143 felt like I was grinding glass in my hips, super uncomfortable. Out of desperation grabbed a SI SLR flow XP(? - I think) and SLR's will be for me from now on in...
Sawdust Posted February 8, 2011 Share The Arione Wingflex gives me a numb weener after 45min. Using a carbon Ti rail Velo for the last 4 years and no problem. I find a saddle must be smooth to prevent chafing.
