Jiss I know how you feel. It drives you mad. Start with the BB, grease and refit, grease crank set and refit, service your pedals, grease the threads and refit, remove your chain rings, grease and refit.Check your cleats, if doesnt help start searching else where for the problem. Sometimes it sounds like the bb but is actually the seat post... etc. Goodluck, and keep calm

My guess is the pedals

I had the same problem with my MTB, as soon as I sttop up and gave power ''creak/click'

Make sure the lock nuts on the pedals are well tight

I got that same crap, first got a squeeking noise, then greased the crank arms and the squeeking went away only to be replaced by this clicking noise. Its @#$@#$@ing horribly irritating.

Check if the BB is loose or has play on it. That is usually the problem.

If not, then check the chainring bolts, they might be loose. Remove them and oil them when putting back.

Seat post clamp and Seat clamp may also need tightening...

Had a horrible clicking noise last week, then monday it was gone but it I could feel something was not lekker. Came from my old pedals so I ordered new ons from CRC :)

Then this morning I felt extreme float on my pedals (CRC order is still another week away from delivery) ... to my horror I saw it was my crank arm bolt was not tight and the play was on the arm

Also had a bad experience with Red, to the point where I considered Dura Ace. Chain kept on dropping on a brand new groupset, then discovered two semi loose chainwheel bolts. Problem solved. This did'nt cause any tell-tale noise, but it is worth checking your bolts.

I often get a clicking noise and in the beginning I took it to the LBS who even lubed the BB again and in the end I found out it was the rear skewer that wasn't tight enough! Just tightening it removed the click and I could have sworn the sound came from the pedals or cranks.

Honestly, it could be anything from skewer/pedals/cassette/cranks/saddle/seatpost/BB. Good luck...

add headset, bar/stem, and chainring grub screws to the list. They have all been culprits in the past.
