Only problem is Contador was in Europe not China and its banned in Europe. I believe that tests carried out on meat from Spain subsquent to Contador saga have found zero contaminated meat.

And why are not more people testing positive for it in EU?

Also banned in china but probably find the policing of it is less stringent there than in the EU. Just raising the possibility that there is some very very slight chance that it was in food he ate.

Yes granted it is plausible, must be a shitty situation to be in if you know you did not take it intentionally as in doping ( as AC claims) but have no way of proving it.

I wonder if the EU is going to kick Spain in the nuts for admitting that they might have been fattening cattle with clenbuterol....

Admit to the one and guilty of the other.....

And last clenbuterol verdict that was overturned and then appealed at CAS by WADA was upheld, that german ping pong player or whatever... So, chances are, CAS will side with contador on this.

Yeah theres doubt, so thats my feeling if its appealed.

....but as I said, I think they will let sleeping dogs lie.

I am sceptical about 99%of the pro peleton and as long as that clenbuterol situation is plausible, it will get milked by the lot of them for all it's worth IMO.

On a side note - well, sorta, after all he is back on his bike - he's 15 seconds adrift of Gilbert in Algarvem but isn't sure if he has the condition for a third title.

He getting some steak flown in to help his "morale"?

The Glory days of the Tour are over.

Contador?

Schleck?

Give us re-runs of Chiappucci, Bugno, Delgado, Theunisse, Pantani, Roche, Anderson, Abdoujaparov,Cippolini, Fignon, The Badger, ANYDAY!

Todays Tour is too clinical and devoid of that essence that made me want to be a cyclist as a kid.

Were these guys on drugs? Probably, but who cares.

When they rode bikes, it was SPECTACULAR

Maybe the race radio ban will help.

RIP Le Tour...

I don't agree this year will be great Contador,Andy, frank,Basso and lets' not forget Cadel Evans. They are all showing some good training performances
