I've still got 2 bottles but I'm too scared to spray the stuff anywhere near me.

I feel a bit sheepish using shower gel called "Kiss Me" but I've got about 8 bottles, and enough shampoo to last me until retirement now.

Sometimes its tough for the orgs, all the stuff is sponsored and if they dont get sponsored you end up with zilch.

The R4S had a pretty good goody bag. BUT - my Fisherman friends mints that were in there expired in Oct last year. Not that I think it really matters but you would think the supplier would be a bit more careful than that when donating the stuff. I ate them yesterday and am still here this morning to tell the tale, pretty sure I will survive.

On the subject of race packs.

What do people really expect for the money they pay ?They get a race start, marshals, a marked and designed route, price giving, water tables, a drink at the finish, race information and and and ................

For this they want a feast of a race pack.

 

One thing I have come to realise in South Africa, appreciation for the value of time is non existent.

One or two race organisers set the bar and each race after that we expect to get the same. When it doesn't happen, we b!tch. Human nature I guess. This reminds me of the plastic bag I got at the Amashova registration......
