First Tour for me, have to say it's quite damp out there. Been trying to hire a road bike but glad I couldn't get one in time so my knobbies will surely come handy. Starting in 6D, wishing everyone the best out there and stay warm.

Also a first timer and will be doing it on my mtb as that's the only bike I have. All the best for race, take it easy like others have suggested - thats my plan anyway 😀

As much as it's upsetting to hear about the theft, how Cyclelab responded to this matter is a nice touch and a lesson to many. Absolutely fantastic.

I always ride past there, never felt unsafe but still remain on high alert when going past. It could also have something to do with my darker skin tone that I get a pass 😒

I agree with you that the flow line does not seem hard at all, and I almost went OTB by riding it blind - luckily managed to save it. In my defense it was my first time riding it and had just completed Lombards Terra so I was a bit over confident ????

I was at Bloemendal today - there were lots of runners(only saw two people running, the rest were walking and enjoying wine, poor planning on my part - should've rather joined that party. Anyway, I did two loops of B-spot --> Lombards Terra --> Lombards Climb --> BloemenNice and I spotted two snake along the BloemenNice section on my second loop. The first one(about a meter long) was crossing the trail so I just missed it's tail i was flying down, and the second one(couldn't tell size, except for small head) was on the side of the trail on the lower section of BloemnNice - in an attack position(I thought it was dead but, noticed it was waiting to strike) so I passed on the far end of the lil bit of trail left, unfortunately no pics as my heart rate was most likely over 200. They both looked like mole snakes (I hope they were at least)

Blake built a bike but I'd rather have Sarrou's bike than Blake's skew frame one. Matt's one might be a tad too big for me. Enjoying the CE so far.

That was a such a brutal but lovely (for us) stage. Primoz is bozz, but Bernal's got guts hey, pokey pokey at Roglic like that, haha! Loved it

That was a really close one, but N1NO tactic to move inside was masterclass. Still can't believe that he won, I thought Flueck had this one, wow!

Evie rode a smashing race, after PPP overcooked herself in the first 2 laps. I believe Loana has other priorities (CX iirc). Swiss pair (Nino and Flueck) are riding really well, but AH not that far off.

Cink lit up the race and from there onwards AH was lost, didn't seem in control. Avancini fought well but Blevins - that was unexpected ????

That was a strong chase to reel in the breakaway, and Matthews didn't see that one coming. Exciting race!!

Heartbreak for breakaway that was hard to watch. Roglic looking like a King and Mas is really looking good too. Can they keep it up for 3 weeks? The last week is going to be really brutal I'm afraid. Exciting stuff.

GC battle is going to be interesting thats for sure - Carapaz to be super domestique for Bernal/Yates?
