  1. Tyres say 4.5bar! Is there a problem with compatibility between the tyre bead and the rim?
  2. Have ZTR Arch rims with Stan's tape and Ritchey WCS Shield tyres 29 and they keep popping off the rims when I get to about 3 bar, it's bloody scary! Anyone have any advice??
  3. My Pyga build, so far, arrived this morning due to the snow! Wheels are ZTR Arch Ex on Cris King red hubs with Ritchey WCS Shield 2.1 tyres. Rest of the build is still in boxes!
  4. Anyone know when we will get our JHB orders then?
  5. Check the pad contact adjuster on the brake lever is all the way out. Use a bleed spacer, the red one, before you fit the caliper to make sure the pads are all the way out before fitting. Might help.
  6. Had the same problem, turned out to be a broken pawl grinding inside the hub! Check it! I wasted a shed load on new bearings etc before I found out. Also be careful putting grease in the hub or freewheel without talking to Mavic, can damage the wheel!
  7. Looks great but why on earth is a locally produced bike so expensive! Was always surprised that the Morewood bikes costs the same here as abroad. How about a local price for the local market??
  8. Saw a lady riding one at Mountain Splendour in the Drakensburg at Easter, looked awesome, chunky carbon frame! Did not know they were available yet?
  9. Anyone gone old school and tried a Brooks saddle on a mountain bike?

    Endura MT500..............the best!!!!!!
  11. I will take it to my LBS and they will send it to DT Swiss if needed but they have quite a good shock guy at Dunkeld Cycles.
  12. Have a DT Swiss M210 rear shock and it seems to be 'knocking' when it straightens out, not in compression. Any advice before I send it in for service?
  13. Always have a spare tube, sometimes even a plug will not work! Bombs are good to help 'seat' a tubeless tyre as this can be difficult when using just a small pump. Bombs can trash your slime though, as they are so cold! IMHO.......again!
  14. Geax Saguaro has a continuous center rib which lets it roll much better than Mountain/Race Kings, etc, on the road, and yet it still has good grip on the rough..........IMHO!
  15. Spoke to them, thanks.
  16. Don't know the area so looking for any ideas. Routes via local pubs are even better!
  17. Anyone know this area, I believe the Berg to Bush starts around there?
  18. Looking for routes and trails or contacts who might know about mountain biking in the area. Staying at Misty Peaks for Easter. Cheers.
  19. Nope, seems you can't do it!
  20. Surely it just comes down to axle size? As long as the fork has a 20mm bearer, the size of the axle should not matter? On the hub side, can you fit a 20mm sleeve to an SLR?
  21. Can you change a 20mm maxle fork to fit a15mm hub? I have SLR 's and was looking at a Reba XX fork, can I fit it?
  22. Dunkeld Cycles, speak to Mark or Merlyn.
  23. Scott Spark 29 Elite has got to be the best value for that sort of money.
  24. Will not let me upload pics either, on ipad!
  25. Using 5.0.1
