  5. Look at the new Shimano Deore M615 10speed double, beautiful crank and cheap. With any 2x10 you have the short chainring bolts so easy to slap a 32T SS ring on it and sell the other two new rings. You also get the crank on the outside of the chainring which looks better IMHO. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/za/en/shimano-deore-m615-10-speed-double-chainset/rp-prod108774
  6. I believe the new top range bikes like S-works are going to be over 100K!!!!
  7. Now I see it, nice and neat but what about stability in the frame?
  8. Check the center lock ring is tight first.
  9. So how do you get the belt on?
  10. Get your uric acid tested for gout if your toes are hurting! Headache is def the caffeine withdrawal/hangover!
  11. Pretty good, thought it might not be as stiff and might get a bit of vibration under braking but all is good and it has a bit of give in it , so not too hard on the wrists.
  12. Mine will always be the Brooks, will probably sell the others.
  13. Done my number two's.........so to speak! Second Lurcher SS Rigid....DONE! This time with fongkong carbon fork.
  14. Must be chain line! http://www.singlespeedafrica.co.za/2013/06/07/perfect-your-chainline/
  15. Beautiful bike but the cow horns must go!!!
  16. Short chainring bolts are readily available from your LBS or if you buy a 2x10 crank they use them and you have no need to swap. As for the chain, I just measure the chain so it is tight...ish on your bike, so you do not need to tension too much. Make sure you can loosen the chain enough to get the wheel out of the horizontal dropout! MTC Question, I thought Niners had an off centre BB so you don't need a chaintug?
  17. Took a chance and all went well. They do have PayPal so felt fairly confident.
  18. She's a beauty, must be light too, you have some top kit on there.

So, all in they cost lesss than R1200 each!!! Go Flyxii........!!!!!!
  21. Lucky you, I'd better whinge some more and see if I can get some too! No sign of them on the site yet.
  22. Thanks Steve, mine is a Large frame. I know about the drop out problem as I wanted to build up another lighter SS. They have told me they may have more by mid Aug. Have a bigger problem with the carbon fork that will be out of stock until Oct!!! I have ordered a fork from Flyxii, will see if it arrives. I whinged at OnOne about the drop out so they have sent me two doofer tensioners free. Make sure you post some pics when you are finished.
