Hi...adding to the resurrection bid, I have a question. With the stage 6 load shedding schedules, my 100ah linknet gel batteries last about 90 mins, so can I connect the Linknet inverter to a generator to charge the batteries during that extra stage in the day ? In this way the batteries will last the stage at night, powering cctv and alarm. This is for a business btw. Or will the generator mess up the invertor ? Its a Ryobi 7.5 kva. TIA.
Nice one Nolan...????
I had a similar system installed at at the company I work for, so far so good, receive an immediate notification when that line is crossed, this is after hours only.
Cameras are monitored by Security Company after hours as well.
Hi Hannes, if you bought Campagnolo wheels, I have a Campi freebody from a pair of Zonda's...I am willing to swop for the Shimano freebody if compatible.
Love my Speedplays....
So why do you want to save footage to the cloud?
Have you got the bandwidth required? what quality are you wanting to store to the cloud? Higher quality more bandwidth.
How much storage are you prepared to pay for, or do you have your own FTP server.
What is wrong with keeping the footage local (most cost effective) and just viewing remotely like everyone else and do incident backups.
Also for this to work in SA you are going to have to make sure your internet upload speed is adequate or it will never work.
Check out this bandwidth calculator
https://www.jvsg.com/storage-bandwidth-calculator/
1080p @ 16 fps (what I would say is the minimum default is normally 25fps) recording motion 35% will be about 10GB storage per camera per day.
The reason I am exploring this option is in the event of the theft of the DVR....thank-you for the responses.
Good Day Hubbers,
I have a Dahua XVR and it works great. My PTZ camera is easily controlled via my cell .
My only problem is , how do I save video footage to the cloud.
On the screen it gives me the FTP option,so I need to know what is the optimum settings.
For example , what do I choose as my File Length (MB) and Image Upload Interval (Sec).
Any advice would be appreciated, the call center and sales dude was kinda hopeless.
TIA
Cheers
Enjoyed this, vaguely remember watching some version dubbed into Afrikaans it as a kid
I have been that weight, Carbon frame no problem..Spez Roubaix Comp as well as SL2 Tarmac.
Wheels were Mavic Elites, Campi Eurus or Zonda's..and that was 21 spokes rear and 16 front.
I am still riding those same wheels, no problem. Just my 5c..
Who's going to start playing chess now?
Lol , many many years ago when my daughter was about four, I came across an article about a Russian scientist. In it he explained how chess aided the development of neuron growth in the brains of kids. I bought a chess that week and started teaching my daughter. She never really took to it , but by age six that changed and by now she was sacrificing her minor pieces to capture my more valuable pieces. We played for another year or so and she lost interest. Having said all of that, school was a breeze for her and so was uni. She's a doctor btw, completing her comm serv this year. Occasionally I will remind her of how I stacked the deck in her favour, by teaching her chess and developing extra neurons, asking her about any PPE tenders ...she just rolls her eyes..
Good Day Hubbers
So the company I work for is in need of Texanol aka NX795
It is used as a Coalescing agent is Latex Paints.
This is not my domain, but my boss is in urgent need of this particular product.
So if any hubbers are in the Industrial Chemical game, please drop me pm / mail on availability.
TIA
