  1. Yeha as a complete noob. You get off walk and then check it out and ride...The same thing DH riders do at a DH track. nobody rides everything blind all the time. You gotta learn. But even that as a noob is ridable blind (slowly). Biggest mistake new riders make when tackling a technical trail...seatpost high enough to tickle your nostrils. Just drop the saddle at the top of the trail. Especially when still learning...And for heavens sake, don't learn to ride a bike while clipped in either And 100% skills differ from rider to rider, but deterring people from what is essentially a pretty chilled trail unless you're trying to go as fast as humanly possible by overgrading it is a massive disservice to the community and the overall potential skill level of riders IMO. And more importantly, deterring people from having fun riding a really cool trail as well.
  2. lol...no you should NOT skrik for the Cobra. Thats Tygerberm's problem...overgrading what is essentially a green trail by international trail standards and calling it a black graded trail. Ride down it, chill out and have fun. There's nothing hectic on that trail that you HAVE to ride over.
  3. Hahahahaha about what? The climbs? Hoogies is very chilled you'll be fine
  4. It's ENTIRELY dependent on how fast you climb the hill to the top of the first stage. If you can get there early then 3 to 4 hours you will do it no problem. However...do not underestimate the fitness of the enduro folk.
  5. Not particularly cold there this weekend. 5 minimum at nights, so maybe, maybe drop to 0.
  6. Enjoy everyone riding tomorrow....NOW i'm beginning to get a little FOMO
  7. No, you won't get charged VAT or duties on the shipping cost.
  8. Wow...all the hate just make people sound like opinionated, closed minded, jealous old grumps. Yes, yes they should be allowed everywhere a normal bicycle is. And yes they should be allowed in races. And yes again, they obviously should have their own category. This is not exactly rocket science. Wow.
  9. yes, but leave them at home, you deserve time away from them sometimes too you know
  10. Shhhh....nobody wants the truth here!

  19. Taahir is not a lady...
  20. Pretty sure you're not allowed on the trails with a bike unless you're part of it, so you'll have to walk up I'm afraid.
  21. Egos? Because we "pinners" WILL be beaten by many more marathon/XCO oriented peeps? Lol...no bruising here, we're ALL used to it, especially on the less tech stuff like this.
  22. Although put that post down at the top of the descent like we did for years before droppers were a thing
  23. I try More a poke at Taahir though in this case He has been able to ride every tech thing at Hoogies for years already!
  24. Chicken line at Hoogies? I thought Hoogies WAS a chicken line?
  25. No need man, normal trail. You can do it with 1l of water, or 500ml if you don;t min'd just sipping a LOT at the finish.
