  1. Where'd you get the 120 in that colour scheme? :| Waiting for my replacement front triangle....sight...Been waiting since November ;(
  2. I don't consider myself a super strong climber but I passed a LOT of people on the uphills on the weekend riding the Argus MTB race on my 120...with flat pedals and 1x11. The rear end is sooooo stiff the power transfer just feels super direct and the acceleration is great. Over more technical rooty climbs you also smile. 29'rs...so far only one has impressed me (admittedly on paper) and that's the Evil for the type of all-round riding I want to do. Yes I would LOOOOVE one of the Carbon Pyga's...but I'm not rolling in enough dosh to fork out close to double the money for a frame...and honestly, I doubt it makes that much difference in all honesty.
  3. I have the 120...Got it from Bibi...If you can, put a nicer fork than the Revelation on it I'm running 150mm in the front...so higher than they recommend, but love it. To me it is the perfect allround bike. As capable as the 110 uphill, but wipes it on the down stuff
  4. DH is NOT for most of the ppl who rode Argus MTB yesterday Hell, singletrack is not for most of em Photo's look awesome
  5. Man it take like 30min and you don't even need to watch it while it's busy....Although is IS better to completely wipe it and start fresh to clear off all the old crap slowing it down
  6. have you NEVER updated your firmware? :| That's old
  7. EasyBike perhaps? http://www.easybike.co.za/park-tool-home-mechanic-repair-stand-pcs-9.html Or Takealot http://sport.takealot.com/sport-park-tool-pcs-9-home-mechanic-repair-stand/PLID34183549 BuyCycle https://www.buycycle.co.za/workshop/repair-stands/park-tool-pcs-9-home-mechanic-repair-stand/ Cape Multi http://www.capemulti.co.za/CATEGORIES/tabid/5071/CategoryID/183/List/0/catpageindex/3/Level/a/ProductID/2221/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName My bet is Takealot...they have stock so will arrive ASAP and shipping should be free at that price.
  8. Yes it held my Spaz Enduro which was over 16kg at the time. although clamping on the top tube was better. Using the seatpost creates a lot of torque on the clamp arm on the CWC one as was prone to turn. However, I have had no problem with clamping it on the top tube. Especially considering the price
  9. Old stock at Olympic in CT so only R780
  10. Got myself one of these on Saturday
  11. No 2016 yet...no clue where they are...What's the point of their fancy tablets and tracking equipment if you can't update a database in 3 days...?
  12. Woop woop, so my (well not my personal one) OneTwenty seems to have crossed the Himalayas http://www.pinkbike.com/news/shaken-and-stirred-crossing-the-himalayas-by-bike.html Edit...p.s. Don't let your phone autocorrect :-P
  13. Does anyone know where we can check out official times/results for the race?
  14. No comeback to that But must conclude I am loving mine like hell The reverse arch is also great at keeping muck off the stanchions
  15. Or you could have bought a Mattoc Pro and turned a knob
  16. Very glad I upgraded in October! :| But even then the Pike was around R13500...Not that I got one of those though
  17. Unfortunately coming from the climbing community and trying to deal with TMNP I know how these EMP things go...so can't say I'm particularly optimistic Ihave this dilema where I work right next to Tokai but live right next to Majik forest...so summer time riding is easy,...Winter...too dark by the time i get home
  18. Ya...oh how much longer will we wait...I need a place to ride after work in winter time!

  20. I'm 1.73m and 50mm stem with 765 mm bars is defo the sweet spot for me on the Medium OneTwenty (and on my old Spaz Enduro). If you're that tall 760 may be a bit narrow. I had 780's but that was just ever so slightly uncomfortable. The wider bar definitely makes the cockpit feel a little longer. I missed how tall you are by the way? My friend who's 1.95 swears by his 800 after coming from 640's he immediately wondered why he ever rode narrow bars.
  21. And wider bars, don't forget the wider bars
  22. Yeah dude my "marathon" orientated mate got a Reba at 120mm and he is not looking back at all. If it bobs a little too much just add some air.
  23. No.....Its Daves Extra Legit Travel Apparatus
  24. But to be honest as an all rounder "fun" do it all the 120 for me is best. I'm not not sold on any 29'rs yet except the Evil so far
