  1. a BIT ugly?
  2. Hahahaha Yeah for sure, but the extra 250g starts adding up after a while. Either way, cup of cement/etc ya know
  3. Oops....yes 36 woulda have been better, but no native 170mm travel in the 2021 36 So the Helm (with a brand new CSU and complete service/overhaul) will be up for sale shortly too
  4. Anyone had decals made for the Fox 38 yet per chance? I'm trying to find a vector graphics file of the decals, but seems it's a bit new.
  5. From what I have heard the track is currently in need of some SERIOUS maintenance. Perhaps it is worthwhile contacting the landowner so we can get some peeps together after the first few rains to do a little maintenance
  6. OP wants slacker than the rapide. Dave's are definitely not slacker with 140 fork. Rapide with 140 is stated with 65.2 HTA
  7. Etnies Marana Crank from Go-MX Nice stiff sole and the rubber so far is great. Yes they are MTB shoes, NOT skate shoes.
  8. Insure, but at least with carbon, if it goes pop you CAN repair it. If an alu bike cracks...basically throw away, so plastic may in that regard be much better.
  9. Geezuz that was great Yeah, MTB riders for the most part are fixated on not getting hurt or having fun rather than getting **** done
  10. Speaking of the man, a new vid just dropped https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwAlTqTdneE&ab_channel=Hambini
  11. Hahahahah that is more sensible than ppl doing what I described
  12. And they will too shortly, like the vast majority of the worlds population. Why, because it doesn't matter. It's liek people typing ****on the internet thinking they are "not swearing"..>Same same, butt same
  13. They are trying to sue (is that how you spell it?) over that video specifically. New vid of his about it was bloody great Either way, I have zero issue with what he's doing, calling out the BS seen on the frames he gets. Can't fault that. As for the "foul mouth" ... people need to get over themselves and the victorian age BS pertaining to what's a bad word
  14. "All bikes are trash, all bike are badly designed until you fit his parts" I think that's the wrong takeaway from it More that there are issues and yeah he rags on and on a little, but most, if not everything he brings up is rather pertinent. Like BB shells having VASTLY different sizes on drive and non-drive side. Enjoyable, but a bit ranty, kinda like some monthly newsletters in the WC
  15. Shimano make loads of spares....Cool Heat though don't bother bringing most to RSA from what I have found or been told by various shop owners.
  16. Good luck, the bloody agents ( ) bring very limited spares in. If they brought the clutch assemblies for rear mech's in they would sell like hotcakes!
  17. I ONLY ride with sunnies. So far 4 diff pairs without issue. Also...it's not an XCO/M lid, so bit of a unreasonable expectation. But for me, who gets hot REALLY fast, it is plenty well ventilated even for midsummer. As for chinny storage...i hook it into my waist strap for bum bag or onto my backpack or if it's a short or jeeptrack climb i just hang it over my handlebars.
  18. The version 1 had clasp problems. I reported it when mine broke and was told it was my fault. After it happened to a few more people I rode with I contacted them again and they then admitted it was a problem and replaced the lid...with the same model (knowing it was potentially problematic). Anyway the replacement got stolen and I got a new version and have had zero issues. Other than that the lid is great on my head, fit is rad, weight is rad and ventilation is great (even in Jonkers summertime). Not sure why you woudl want to try climb with the chin bar on anyway...otherwise why would one buy a lid with a removable chin bar? I have crashed a good few times, but never more than a light brushing on the lid. Needless to say if I had crashed hard i woudl replace it (as you should too...lids are not designed to take multiple crashed to the head and keep going...as much as many of my incompetent friends think they should). And it has passed all the required safety standards and is still the only widely available removable chin lid locally. So ya...go for it
  19. How it could be ridden ... https://www.facebook.com/1970735023160419/videos/2122325068001413/?__so__=channel_tab&__rv__=all_videos_card
  20. Yep...from the tip of the canon to the start of Epic ST...
  21. The two sections above and 2 below are amazing as well Albeit slightly butt puckering at times. Not that I or anyone I know have dunnit!
  22. Yeah it was mos. It's running pretty fast at the moment. Maybe next time someone changes the end signage so they gotta go down Plumb Pudding Proper
  23. Nothing...the only reason to watch is for when they get to go down the Gorge at Hoogies or Plumb Pudding on TM...for the lols.
  24. Yes, sorry that's a pet peeve of mine when someone (me in this case) ONLY mentions a tread pattern when referring to a tyre, as it's essentially almost meaningless. Both of these were 27.5x2.35 Addix Soft compound and Supergravity casing and at a pressure of ~25PSI.
