Unexpected morning rain reversed our Friday coffee ride, coffee first and then a shortened ride.

I'm pretty sure (1) could be used in place of (2) aswell. Or does (2) do something special I'm not aware of

It was properly hot and breezy on Sunday, I briefly discussed the race with a fellow club rider whilst we were out on our ride and the consensus what that we were happy to not have ridden it.

I gave up on this long time ago. A mate and i used to ride together all the time. We also used to start together. If we split up it was always me finishing before him, but he consistently got seeded a group or 2 ahead of me. Happened for many years, we just accepted it and he would drop back to my group to start.

I disagree, prevention is better than cure. Stopping the object piercing the tyre is the first priority, and some tyres do it better than others.

yeah, no moderation CAN work, and its great when it does, but it only takes 1 or 2 individuals to stuff things up so bad the entire forum becomes a ghost town. I've been part of such forum and its sad to see the state it is in now after basically everyone left. As much as sometimes I'd like a little more freedom here, I understand the other side of the coin. Where does one draw the line.

I get where SwissVan is coming from, 1 guy dominating the season, given the sketchy history of doping in cycling it does make a person question this dominance. For cycling's sake i hope he is clean, cycling does not need another doping scandal.

Its a short segment on a flat open piece of road. I cant answer the rest of the questions, i dont even know if both devices were from the same manufacturer. I just thought it was interesting as we know there are accuracy errors and this clearly shows them. How and why those errors occurred is a discussion I dont know enough to get involved in.

We all know that our devices are not 100% accurate and all sorts of things affect their accuracy whilst we ride. But I thought this was interesting from a group ride this week. A couple on a Tandem put this screen shot on their strava. Same segment, the faster time was the person at the back.

I'm looking for the start batch times for last year, does anyone have a link or have them handy ?

when you are on a group ride with people you hardly know and you over hear them talking about something they saw on bikehub, you realise just how big this platform is.
