Must say, agree mostly with porky here. At the end of the the day however you see cycling of the pros, it is there work. if you can't work in your environnment due to what ever reason then you must be able to take your things and leave. I also don't think ML and co just decided now to take there things and leave over one smaal issue, this must have come from various issues that happened over time. How you call it backstabbing, no idee, but then again...riders backstap other managers to ride for DR if im not mistaken as it is laid out in this topics contex.... And no matter where you work or who is your boss, throwing out your toys like a kiddo is a no no. Yes, you need to make yourself clear and a boss/manager will loose sometimes some of his patientce and get a loud voice and argue even.....but there is a bit of difference between throwing your toys out and loosing a bit of anger and be a bit harsh on your people that work under you....we all are human. Over the long time will he just loose respect from people and to be in such a position as DR for instance as a manager of a squad..... you must have the compentencies as manager as whole and not just good at being able to pull of big sponsers.... else your a managers ass!!Witrot2008-06-11 13:24:08

Same problem with my cape storm pants hammerhed....just suddenly they give rash...and they were my best pants... and i only have done about 2000km over year with them......and yes i do wash my pants after each ride!!! hehe So ja, i don't use those pants anymore....ride with my old ones again....more of sore bum after ride but thats better then a permenant rash

Its pretty simpel actually. If you can't stay in school and cycle, how you going to go thru rest of life. Its all part of grow up process. Yes, its hard to ful fill your dream, especially if you are good at it and still cont with school. But it learn you great characteristics you need for life. And you don't know where life might take you. I have seen many great riders, stop school and later stop cycling cause they are pushed to hard and they don't like it anymore when they reach 18/19 years of age and actually then realise there is other stuff in life but can't do it, cause they lack the education!! Well done on the parents that pushed them and they reach less then the bloke who didn't do anything at school really, but at least made grade 12 and can cont varsity. This past weekend was the varsity world champs in holland. If they can do it with the times and competitiveness they have done then there is no excuse to stop school cause you want to cycle as pro even at young level. Phen earlier also talk about same expierence he had, its not worth it. He at least could catch up, but he is one of the handful guys that is able to do so. But to go for couple weeks on tour is nothing wrong, they still get some education and can cont a dream.....you and me or they will never know what they going to do in 4 years time, at least they have a choice instead of just cycling or nothing. Therefore thanx to antie Jill and co for doing it this in the way they have. Anycase... For this thread purpose. Good luck to you Mr Price lot, hope it wil go great and kick some ass!!

Haha.....i think you love almost anybody after tonight!!! I was actually talking about my team that i will love them even if the play as crap as tonight! The problem is the whole setup of the team. If it doesn't change we will be at the bottum of the super 14 for long while, even if we do well in the curriecup each year. Same with the lions! Anycase, we talking about the Sharks here. Hope they do well. Wonder if the Hurricans can crack the Crusaders as the Highlanders did today...or maybe it was just a wake up for them. Then, the clash between Sharks and Waratahs is going to be a tuff one!!

Well, what have happened last couple races again it could be regarded as negative racing and some are very sad about it as well!! Yes, Murphy. Agree with you on this. There are just a few that is of good racing quality and there will only be couple again coming from junior next year. I don't know if its sponser problem to be able to ride full time or just comitment of a lot of ladies that is out there or both. But there must be a larger increase in competitive racing ladies who can turn on the pace, etc. I think the best way to improve ladies racing and numbers mainly is get more ladies at school level racing and get them to be more competitive overall early on and not just one or two total in each cat like most past years if not all of them. By this you can increase numbers of ladies racing and there competitiveness. But this will take years and if someone is willing to get this going and do this over long run! I mean this is where most mens pros come from, Neotal,some of mtn, Konica, HOP which is our main teams have all riders from junior level and younger. Witrot2008-05-17 14:24:18

For instance i don't mind having a thread with girls in there bikini's etc, etc. That i can skip if i am using pc's in another environent like the computer labs i use regularly. But, just wanting to read normal cycling related threads become a problem due to a bunch of avatars that is crossing the line a bit for a person around me that doesn't know whats going on and i get reported and send packing! We have a very open and relax policy about surfing at work. But it's one thing to spend time on the hub and another thing to have "porn like" little images on your screen when someone comes to your desk or walk by etc. Sure the avatars is not porn as such, but it's close enough look bad in a work environment. Ditto, was yesterday send out from the computer labs i use where i was on the pc, due to porn related images thanx to thehubsa!!!!!!!!!!!!!
