  1. Great pics Wayne thru out the tour!! Nicely done
  2. David spat at Hunter. Saw it with my own eyes. Although Hunter pulled him by the helmet and slapped him on the back before he spat. Thanks for clearing that, can't think of Robbie do a thing like this...
  3. I would recommend a coach or some kind of expert to give you advice, but my personal experience, at least 7hrs a week to have some sort of fitness and then to at least enjoy a race i do with out suffering to much just to stay on the bike. Witrot2008-03-07 09:42:47
  4. Thanx Jules and BG. You guys are great!!! I also keep them in my pocket, just a leka mess to clean it if some GU leaks out....... BUT rather this then throwing them just on the ground!!
  6. Thanx Phen. How you going to study blow my mind. Maar sterkte in elk geval!!
  7. Dit kan afhang.........In die II world war was daar van die girls wat deur 'n hele kamp soldiers gegaan het in een aand...
  8. Hey Phen.....you guys must just give as feedback each day for the ones sitting miles away up north!!!! I wonder how the Kenian will do.......he can also do well overall if he is not riding for his ass off for his team mates!
  9. No......why....cause he makes good popcorn fights!!!
  10. Must say. It is a good team with nice strong riders. Hope they do well in Kiwi land and all the best to them!!!! Just what i don't get is why go there and not europe. And many of the other teams is long time there allready to adapt to kiwi land climate, while our team only arrived there couple days ago. How the hel must they perform duo to this?? Are we going to send riders to olimpics later on also 2 days before it starts......
  11. The bikes missing pedals....wheres onetime with his free pedals????? Nice design by the way
  12. The problem i have is, when i do not change it and cont another half year. Then my new chain gives my hassles for weeks and jumps gears all the time.....
  13. I'm no expert, but i replace mine each year. Else i have to much problems with a new chain. I only do a couple thousend km's a year!
  14. I lost 4 kg in a month and that wasn't the idea. I eat healthy and at regular intervals. I use a protein shake after a training session. Try to get a protein shake without fat added to it. That allready helps. Why i lost weight probably. I'm back on my old protein supplement and no weight loss last 3 weeks.
  15. flemish lion. Only championchip can help you. They are there to take each riders time.
  16. No a chip is not actually supposed to be used at all. But you know yourself that all races don't have camara's!
  17. Krokki. Ja, i know. But i have spoken to a couple officials and it is not a rule. But the line official on the line would actually want them to were chips. Then i've been at a couple races last year where there were no officials and only mats and the chips time was to see who is the winners! So who is going to be the losers in this case....riders without chips.
  18. Actually there is a lot of elites that do ride with one and the race is judged and timed!!!!! So i don't know where you get this statement from as all riders must ride with one. There was a time when it was said that the elites don't have to use chips, but that was years ago! If there is queries you can actually use the chip time as evidence, which has been done couple times in the past.
  19. Uhm. i think Gross is batch start time used and Net is time you go over mat till you finish, example. If you go 6 seconds later than 1st guy over mat at the start and finish exact time together, than your Net is 6 secs faster. Something like that
  20. Cool. I'm Wilbert or you can just call me witrot in general as its one of my nicks. Good luck for her for the year futher on. While on this crash. Can anyone tell me hows it going with Chrissie Viljoen as she got a couple cuts from the crash, not too serias but painfull as from what i've seen. And was she able to ride on Sunday at least.
  21. Hey, glad to hear she could race again on sunday. Her leg/kniee looked a bit sore after her crash! Hope she recover well. Never got the name of your her at the race. She did pretty well during the race and can climb pretty good too. I was the guy that brought back her bike behind the medics. And ya, normally they have 2 but sometimes only 1 person at champion chip. So sorry to hear about that.
  22. I wanne know to, about some snap shots. Because i heard about everyone crashed some where on the downhill!
  23. The experts here can give there comments on power training as they know more of it..... But i'm on a student budget and can't afford power training equipement....i use HR monitor with cadence and with that can i train just as well. Works for me as i understand what i must know and look at to gain fitness for the bit i train. I'm on the same fitness level if you look at all the aspects on riding, lactate threshold, etc with the same amount of training as those with power training. I think it also depends how serious you are......i'm riding for fun and race when i can and competitive as i can. But i'm light years away from pro, for that its not worth it for me.
