there must be some truth in this as I give myself a tummy ache every frikkin time I eat a fruit on an empty stomach....one should have learnt by now but apparently one hasn't overcome the lazy syndrome and prefers to reach out for a banana or an apple instead of going to the kitchen and making themselves a proper meal If i remember correctly (I am gonna have to go and read over this tonight) the article mentioned of putting OJ/Apple J in your std energy drink like Energade and using that....I stand corrected as I am old now

you lucky i only saw this today been a bit hectic at work what can i say...... so people have issues with my bike hey? i love my merida, all scratches and minor faults so no reflectors mr mint, those came off a while back and then the rims got changed so my merida hasn't seen them in a long long while.....nice try though and BB, what is it with you and my chain protector? you want me to give it to you or something??? and my baby got me on a podium this past weekend so i aint complaining

well i read all this and i will share my experience whether it is asked for or not before the knysna race i decided to take my bike for a service and being a trusting person i left it in the hands of the people that should know being fairly new to cycling i wasn't going to demand things that i THOUGHT needed to be changed (although the cassette looked to me as if it needed replacement - i seemed to have been right thanx to an article i read) i had a whole lot of components to be changed as well the chain was changed but cassette stayed, for whatever reason so sorry to argue with you over this Johan, but the frustration of having 4 gears at a lap race due to the cassette being old and the chain new seems hardly worth the R270 or whatever i paid for a new cassette so although it seems all nice and cheaper to have a few chains to a cassette i will not ever change the one without the other.... learning along the way i suppose.......bored girl2007-08-07 03:10:03

hey hey thanx dr, and you're mistaken bout my support team they were great but unfortunately there is little you can do with a stuffed up shifter we even tried to put the chain manually on the middle blade but it wouldnt stick it was a nightmare on the tar, no matter how much i pedaled i wouldnt go faster was really frustrating but it's been happening often lately - this is like the 4th time i got no gears and 3rd at a race!!!! but my own stupidity and the one girl passed me at the scene of the crash.........i should know better and no matter how much it hurts just get back on the bike

i got one of fanie too bad i couldnt take a snap of fanie helping people with their "your knees must touch the floor" stretches.......

i didnt want to start another topic so im posting this here acording to winning time i am a guy and my results do not show with the rest of the ladies but yes marius 10th in my group i finished not brilliant but ok....until next yr

In the rush to hit the road home I never asked you what you thought of Sunday's ride...? ok so sun........ was great i am sorry my skills arent up to scratch yet to have been able to keep up with you on the downhills though the roots made it a bit tricky the skipping gears made it even trickier but i had a good ride and a good workout really love those hills it just calls to me i did seem like a "pansie" on a few occasions though and i will regret it for the rest of my days
