lol... @Jewbaccasmart-arse! But I think you missed the question he is not asking what sort of bike one 'needs' to do Freedom Challenge and pretty much every multi day event in SA and Lesotho but I think he wants to know if a HT is a necessity for the 2 day B&B 😜

You defiantly don't need a DS for Berg & Bush. I'm sure you could even do it with a gravel bike if you really wanted. I have done a couple B&B over the years all on a HT.

Maybe something like a front facing Garmin Radar light.

I tried MAF a couple a years ago for my running eventually gave up. Like @SwissVan said I found it too frustrating to try and keep my HR as low as the MAF method requires. But I have a couple friends who are much better runners than me who swears by it.

Accommodation booked this morning, just under 3 months to go. Guess I better start doing some longer rides over the weekends.

To be honest I have never had anything but good service from Garmin SA and I own quite a few Garmin products. The only product I ever had problems with was a set of Vector 2 pedals and they replaced those no questions asked 🤷‍♂️

If you haven't been to court before you should go - its an eye-opening experience 🙂 They take your name and temp before you enter the court building. If I remember correctly court 3 doesn't have lots of seating and the courts are normally full.

I did not realise that he was released. I thought he was out on bail and he has not been rearrested. Hope I'm wrong but I have no faith in our judicial system.

I think that article refers to when he was released on bail, hopefully he has been rearrested.

I'm sorry but police corruption in SA is out of control and it makes me feel sad & hopeless. My family had to deal with police corruption in the past - a wrongful arrest and if I have to think what we had to go through just because we refuse to pay a bribe and I see this guy gets bail on the Monday really pisses me off to no end!

Turns out it was a Limpopo number plate not Lesotho. Thats the problem with what-sup/social media never know if the information is 100% factual.

Sadly the one guy passed away and the other was airlifted to hospital." "One of the security guys that stoped the SUV said the driver tried to bribe the tow a truck driver to help him get away."
