Hi PappaBear My first roadbike was a Speedster 1 (2004) Awesome bike, quite light too, with 105 group. The new ones now are just dif colours i think. Not sure about the price now,but you can't go wrong.

I have been using just paraffin to clean my chain, with the aid of a clam chain cleaning tool and a long bristle brush. Thereafter wash it well down with Clean Green and rinse. Once dry then I lubbe with Squirt and then again the next day. Works for me!!!!
Longest session I've done is 3hrs. Its not that diff, especially in front of the TV watching cycling pref. Did all my weekday training for the Epic on my IDT 3x 2hrs sessions, and then would hit the mountains on the weekends for the long rides.
Its so close now, only 22 days to go. Getting really tired and gatvol of all the training for the last few months. It's now starting to reach the stage when you just want to go for it. BRING IT ON. Any other Epic hubbers out there? Lets here from you.
Hi I also changed fron SLR to Arione recently. Didn't adjust seat post at all, just had to shift saddle a little more forward because of its longer perch. Very happy. Its not all about the saddle tho. There's nothing better than riding with a good pair of shorts (Assos) for the longer rides.
