  1. we're definitely running low on dates... very very low on dates...
  2. Speed Devil... Visible Panty Line
  3. i'm with WW on this. I have only ever owned 2 pairs of shorts - first pair i ever bought and chucked them the day i first wore bibs. i now have bought another pair but for idt use only. to ride with shorts is VERY uncomforatble compared to bibs. re the femmeplus - you still gotta pull the pants/shorts/bibs down. got a sample at a motorbiking event but haven't yet tried the things out (haven't been to a rally since i got the "goodie bag")
  4. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! BB looks mega mega eina!!!!! and peeps said i looked bad after 'shova 2006!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. very very naaaaice Hog - enjoy!

  7. heal up soon BB
  8. eish, i chickened out of going thorugh... now by the looks of the pics i see it woulda been safe for a regular-faller who needs non-technical only to ride there... boohooo! oh well, next time!
  9. best answer so far!
  10. i soooo hope that a miracle happens and he gets found guilty AND punished appropriately (ie nothing short of a a couple of years in jail)
  11. Bateleur1, the prob is if you get caught riding without licence they impound your bike... and then you can kiss it goodbye because by the time you get it back it's been dropped, stripped and is f'd up beyond repair.
  12. well, this all reminded me that my (current) bike learners expires end december... eish now i gotta fight this out.... wish me luck!
  13. thank you for the details and update Spud - hope the op goes well AND that the careless driver gets dealt with appropriately by karma
  14. The victim was at the side of the cab, but he somehow ended up wedged between the back of the car and the pole, with his right leg severed, he said. "Three hours later, we get a 911 call indicating that a cab driver was involved in some sort of altercation. He put himself at the scene."
  15. controlc, i have to admit that i agree with you - hence my only comment on the injured dude is that i hope he heals up soon. as to azonic's issue - i tried to bite my tongue, but now that you've brought it up - sorry azonic, but the law says you must ride in single file. the law further states that it is wrong to prevent someone from overtaking - which it sounds like the bunch was doing? accepted, the driver should not have reacted the way he did - 2 wrongs don't make a right, but the actual blame for the oncomming cyclist having to veer off the road actually lies with the bunch, not the driver.
  16. eish, hope he heals up soon
  17. this is the issue to learn from this all - clearly the kids parents didn't know better AND they made a HUGE mistake, but at least the kid has survived and is healing up. with the right support etc maybe, just maybe, these people can be convinced to try and get others to learn from their mistake instead of being badly treated and pushed into "defensive mode". here's hoping that little Derrik continues his excellent recovery and that other people will learn from this and not make the same mistake.
  18. hmmm, if you read what he's written with it it's really quite clear the he (seth) suffers from severe "penis envy" - the same way that the bullies at school tend to be the under-endowed either physically or mentally variety. he as much as admits to being the silly little school-boy bully type.
  19. for those that are interested, just heard via another forum that Derrik is doing very well and healing up.
  20. HR, stop being childish (i know it's one of your specialities but seriously this is not the thread to prove it) the taxi driver clearly wanted to deliberately cause serious harm and injury (based on the evidence his aim was to cause death) and that is the issue i am getting at. so for you, just for you, please consider the words to "deliberately sever his leg" with "based on the evidence, deliberately attempted to kill or harm or main, and as a result accidentally only caused the severing of his leg" ok? that suit you better?
  21. Eldron, what i'm saying is that to turn around and sever soemone's leg because of a few heated words is overreaction and deserves karma to dish out an equal reaction to it. and if your comment wasn't aimed at my comment then why did you quote my comment specifically to make your statement? i see no "anger issues" with questioning that or pointing out the duplicity of how people react.
  22. domestiquehated, then why did he include a quote of my comment if he was not directing his comment at me or my comment?
  23. HR and eldron - let's see - someone goes out of their way to deliberately put a vehicle into reverse and sever someone's leg and we should sit back and say "oh dear, what a pity there was a fight"? and yet when someone says "what a selfish woman for trying to commit suicide" and doesn't even show any sympathy for her there is no comment againt that???? HR - you want confusing then you've just one it yourself. Eldron - you want to know wy there is anger - that is why - people seem to have priorities very stuffed up - forgive a guy for severing another guys leg but "who cares" when a woman gets raped. and it's also fine to get aggro about a guy being allowed (of his own free will) to continue cycling, and even more aggro tht it took an ambo more than 5 minutes to get to him when he has a heart attack, but nb they must'nt interfere with the other cyclists' times by slowing htem down to get past so should we just agree that murder/attempted murder and rape are fine and then we can get upset if someone gets upset about those things happening?
