It sounds like patella tendonitis... I get this quite often, its an overuse injury, also caused by not streching and overloading your quads If it is that - go to a good physio and you should be A-OK within a week and you will still be able to train between treatments and a little strapping on the knee to aleviate stress from your quad...

After having the WH550's and breaking the spokes a couple of times I got a set odf Aksiums, really tough wheels.... no problems over the past 8 or so months. They are however a bit on the heavy side, but makes a decent training wheel

I guess every person's experience is different. But I have bought a few bikes from Westdene, and in so doing have travelled a fair distance to do so to. The service is probably not the greatest in terms of rushing up to you as you walk in the store, but if you just simply ask someone for something the service is always pretty good, with decent advice and really good prices as well as always helping out with exchanges and that kinda thing. I think they have gained far more business from other shops than they have lost. 4 Bikes later, and it will more than likely be the shop I get my 5th from...

Thats why I went with the 2007 frame colour, not a fan of the team scheme Just prefer the other colour scheme - its also looks better in real life than in the pics, and doesn't date as quickly as a "team" bike

I don't that you are able to get this bike in SA no more. someone told me that they have stopped bringing them in.... Dunno about that - that is the 2008 colour scheme - they wont bring in the blue/black one

well they retail at 19K at westdene But he offered to match the price 17.5 is actually a good price for the frame

I just got myself one of these (in the Blue/Black colour scheme) and it is Fantastic REALLY happy with it.... Have only had it for a week or so, so cannot give you a very detailed report on it, but its very comfortable, responsive, etc etc...

Where did you get that saddle from? I have been looking for one and no shops seem to have a white one.

I have been to a few places and often they come back just having been washed or actually in worse shape than before. So now only 1 of 2 people will touch the bike Bill Horn in Edenvale (works from his house) Or George at Mean Machine Cycles in Germiston Both do a really proper job!!! and you know exactly who has worked on your bike
